MEET THE BROKER
Daniel Leisner’s entry into commercial real estate came through his family’s own transaction. In 2012, his father sold a manufacturing building and exchanged into a restaurant and a strip center, exposing him firsthand to the ownership side of retail real estate.
In 2013, he was introduced to the broker who handled the exchange, interned at the firm, earned his license, and six months later closed his first sale: a 13,500 square foot restaurant property on nearly an acre in Beverly Hills that sold for $17,000,000. He spent the next six years focused on retail and restaurant investment sales and leasing across Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.
After leaving in 2019, Daniel stepped back from third-party brokerage work to focus more heavily on his family’s portfolio, gaining hands-on experience in leasing, operations, asset management, and ownership decisions beyond simply closing transactions.
He joined Commercial Brokers International in 2025 and launched The Location Broker in 2026, focused on retail and restaurant investment sales and leasing across Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and the city’s most active retail corridors.

Our mission is to represent property owners in the strategic sale and positioning of retail and restaurant assets across Los Angeles. We prioritize long-term relationships and honest advice over transaction volume.
OUR STORY
The Location Broker LA was built around a focused understanding of Los Angeles retail corridors. The city’s most successful restaurants and retailers are rarely random. They emerge in specific streets where tenant demand, foot traffic, and neighborhood identity converge.
Through years of working with operators, investors, and property owners, we developed a deep appreciation for how these corridors evolve and how individual properties contribute to the character of a street.
Our approach combines market knowledge, investor relationships, and a detailed understanding of Los Angeles’ retail and restaurant landscape to help property owners position their assets for long-term success.
